Fitbit Edge is available for pre-order today
The Fitbit Edge is now available for pre-order, with an official availability date of October 27. The device will cost $179, almost double the Fitbit Air, but it has a display and a bit more functionality. It’s actually the same price as the Fitbit Charge 6, released in 2023. It’s pretty incredible that Google kept it at the same price, given all the inflation since then.
Google is touting the Fitbit Edge as a “weekend to weekend” device, meaning you’ll get a full week of use out of it. It’s touted as having 7 days of battery life, and you can get a full day’s charge in just 5 minutes if you need to do a top-up. Unlike the Fitbit Air, the Fitbit Edge has a display, so it’s much easier to see when it needs charging. It’ll show you right there on your wrist.
Fitbit Edge launched in a slew of colors. These include Obsidian, Fog, Olive, and Canyon, matching the Pixel 11 Pro colors. Google also offers about six band styles, including metal ones that can really dress up the Fitbit Edge.
