The Fitbit Edge is Google’s upcoming fitness tracker meant to bridge the gap between the Fitbit Air and Pixel Watch 5, and while details that are officially from Google are nowhere to be seen because it hasn’t been announced yet, there are new leaks popping up, and the most recent leak reveals information about the official colors, as well as pricing for the UK and Europe.
The Fitbit Edge leaked back on October 6 for the first time with Android Headlhines reporting exclusively on the design with a large collection of images. In that report the US pricing was discussed, with a cost expected to sit around $149 to $199 according to the report. This pricing has not been confirmed. It’s also mentioned that the tracker is expected to launch sometime in October, although there is no specific date.
Additionally, the leak mentions a few different specs. The tracker is said to come with 1.34-inch AMOLED display, Bluetooth 5.4 support, and several sensors that include an SpO2 sensor, accelerometer, gyroscope, and a heart rate sensor. It’s also said to have sensors for ECG and come with a battery life that will last for up to 7 days.
The Fitbit Edge leak mentions the official names of all four colors
Google gets pretty playful with its colors and it also tends to keep things similar if it has multiple device types launching around the same time. For example, the Pixel 11 Pro and Pixel 11 Pro XL come in a color called Canyon, and the Pixel Watch 5 has a band with the same color name. As it turns out, the Fitbit Edge will as well. As pointed out by GSM Arena, one of the official colors for the Fitbit Edge will be Canyon and Champagne Gold.
Other colors include Obsidian and Matte Black, Olive and Satin Pyrite, and then finally Fog and Polished Silver. All of these match the colors of the Pixel Watch 5. In addition to the color names, the leak also mentions UK and Europe pricing. For the UK, customers are expected to pay £159 for the tracker. European customers will end up paying €179.
