The list of compatible games that support HDR10+ Gaming is growing this week as HDR10+ Technologies, LLC has announced new game titles adopting the standard for enhanced visuals, with some of the newly supported games already being available while others are coming out in the near future.
HDR10+ Gaming is backed by Samsung and is a gaming standard that was initially announced back in 2021, and has steadily been growing with new title support since then. Though it started with just one game, The First Descendant from Nexon Corp. Now, however, HR10+ Gaming supports 18 games in total. This list includes some of the biggest games in the past six years, such as Cyberpunk 2077, Red Dead Redemption 2, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III, Black Ops 6, Black Ops 7, and several more.
Newly compatible games for HDR10+ Gaming include Modern Warfare 4
Activision might just be the biggest supporter of this technology as it has the largest number of games on the list that actually support it. In addition to Modern Warfare III, Black Ops 6, and Black Ops 7, HDR10+ Gaming will now also support Modern Warfare 4, which arrives for PC, PS5, Xbox Series, and Nintendo Switch 2 on October 23.
Additional games gaining the support include REANIMAL, Gray Zone Warfare, Sinking City 2, 1001 Threads of Mizan, and Awaysis. Past games include Crimson Desert, Battlefield 6, Borderlands 4, Casual Loop, Call of Duty: Warzone, Dragon Age: The Veilguard, F1 25, F1 25 – 2026 Season Pack, Hell Is Us, and Lost Rift.
HDR10+ Technologies, LLC confirms that more games supporting this standard will be announced by the end of the year as well, so the list isn’t done growing before 2027 comes along. For players, the benefits boil down to ease of use and convenience. The tech removes the need to calibrate your screen or monitor to because when playing an HDR10+ Gaming supported game on a monitor that also supports the tech, HDR10+ Gaming mode is automatically activated to “properly optimize” HDR visuals.
