Meta just expanded its smart glasses ecosystem by partnering with K-pop star Lisa from Blackpink on two customized models. The news arrived alongside hardware upgrades for the flagship Ray-Ban Meta wearable lineup, first-party audio-only glasses, and broader international availability.
The $399 “Meta Glasses by Lisa” collection introduces two distinct designs. First, there’s the rectangular Meta Adventurer Lisa Edition in a semi-translucent Moonlit Sky frame with Blush lenses. Then there’s the new cat-eye Meta Capri Lisa Edition in an Eclipse frame with grey lenses. Both styles feature star accents on the temple tips, custom charging cases, and pet-shaped case charms, while offering standard Meta AI, integrated cameras, audio features, and prescription lens support. Meta also refreshed its existing Kylie Jenner collab with a new Ivory Starfire frame.
Upgraded specs for Ray-Ban Meta Gen 3
For its primary hardware lineup, Meta unveiled the $449 Ray-Ban Meta (Gen 3). The new generation increases battery life by one hour, reaching 9 hours of continuous use on a single charge. It also adds flexible temple tips to reduce pressure on wider face shapes.
Audio and capture capabilities received targeted revisions as well. A new six-microphone array cuts background noise by up to 90% during calls and AI queries. While the camera retains its 12MP sensor capable of shooting 3K video, Meta announced upcoming software features, including a Dynamic Photo tool that selects the best shot from multiple frames and Dolby Atmos support for recording 360-degree spatial audio later this year.
Additionally, Meta introduced an accessibility feature for mild to moderate hearing loss. It will be available for a $150 annual fee or via a Meta One subscription.
Pricing shifts and global expansion
Meta also refreshed its non-celebrity designs with new Ray-Ban styles—the cat-eye Zena and classic Aviators—alongside a new first-party Nova design that mirrors Ray-Ban’s Headliner style. To lower the buy-in barrier, Meta released a black Adventurer frame with a plug-in charging case for $249, cutting $50 off the usual $299 base price.
Finally, Meta confirmed an expanded global retail footprint. Meta Glasses are officially available starting today in South Korea, Singapore, Mexico, and the United Arab Emirates, with a launch in Brazil scheduled for the near future.
