The launch of the Beats 360 headphones has arrived following a few leaks about the upcoming over-ear headphones that included the design, full color suite, and prominent features like interchangeable ear and headband cushions.
This new style of headphones for the Beats brand comes with some improvements over the Beats Studio Pro, the brand’s current flagship headphone, but it will reportedly be sold alongside it and not replace it. Instead, the Beats Studio Pro will drop in price to $299.99, while the Beats 360 is retailing for $349.99, the Studio Pro’s old price.
While the Beats 360 offers many improvements over the Beats Studio Pro, including but not limited to better active noise cancellation, the Beats Studio Pro have something that the new Beats 360 do not.

Apple promises significant improvements in more than a few areas with these new headphones, but there’s one thing the Beats 360 have lost, which the Beats Studio Pro still offers. And that’s the 3.5mm audio port for wired audio. For those who travel often and are engaging in long commutes, the wired connection provides solace from battery drain.
That being said, the Beats 360 do have better battery life. While the Beats Studio Pro are listed as lasting up to 40 hours, that’s without ANC enabled. With it, the battery life drops to 24 hours. The beats 360 can have ANC enabled and personalized spacial audio enabled, and still last for up to 32 hours.
They’re also more customizable, with ear and headband cushions that can be swapped out with one geared toward ultra plush comfort and one geared toward better durability and comfort during active sports and exercise. The Beats 360 come in four different colors, which includes Black, Cloud, Pink, and Sky, and are available for pre-order as of September 22, with units shipping by September 24.
