Volvo has never been one for flashy getups. Throughout most of its tenure, the Swedish brand has made a name for itself by producing understated, well-appointed sedans, SUVs, and wagons that fly well under the radar on a cloud of modest luxury. At the same time, Volvo hasn’t been afraid of building some performance-oriented vehicles here and there. Just think of examples like the V70R wagon and the S40 T5 sedan.
