The Galaxy S24 Ultra already offered 4K/120fps and 8K/30fps recording, the S25 Ultra added Samsung Log, and the S26 Ultra introduced Samsung’s APV codec. A new Galaxy S27 Ultra leak now suggests Samsung could build on those tools without raising the headline recording resolution.
A relatively unknown X user, WalleGalaxy, claims the Galaxy S27 Ultra will support updated versions of Samsung Log and APV (Advanced Professional Video), potentially delivering greater dynamic range than the S26 Ultra. Recording reportedly remains capped at 4K/120fps and 8K/30fps.
