The numbers are in. People really didn’t like Mercedes-Benz designing its electric cars differently from those with combustion engines. Whether the design was advantageous to electric power is a moot point. Buyers weren’t ready for that much of a change, so Mercedes is reversing course on its next-generation EVs.
