RingConn brought its new RingConn Gen 3 smart ring to IFA 2026 to showcase some of its new features, and although this ring was announced in January and launched earlier this year, it’s been one of our standout showings at the event because of its stylish design, lightweight build, and distraction-free functionality through the vibration alerts.
The vibration alerts for silent, distraction-free notifications has been one of our favorite functions that are new to this model, but one of the other standout features is the new vascular health trends that the ring tracks. The RingConn Gen 3 does things differently from other wearables that track vascular trends by combining a variety of patterns that affect them and merging those with “calibrated blood pressure data and lifestyle factors” to form a more complete picture of vascular health over a longer period of time.
Knowing when to check up on vascular trends
The vascular trends can be useful for anyone that wants to keep up on that specific data, but it’s really only useful if you remember to take a peek at it once in a while. This is where the vibration alerts come in handy because they’re not just for silently checking up on incoming emails or messages. The ring will also vibrate for incoming health alerts, like those you get regarding the vascular trends.
When your ring vibrates, you can check to see if it’s a notification about the vascular trends and then use that data to check in with your physician. Aside from this, the RingConn Gen 3 can also keep track of several other metrics including heart rate, HRV, blood oxygen respiratory rate, skin temperature, stress, steps, and calories, all during the day. It also has sleep monitoring features that track things like sleep stages and sleep apnea risk. We also really love that the RingConn Gen 3 continues the trend of offering everyday wear capabilities without charging users a monthly fee. With everything it has going for it and offers to users, we felt the RingConn Gen 3 was very deserving of the Best of IFA 2026 award.
