September 2026 is shaping up to be one of the busiest Techtember seasons in many years. Not only are we expecting Apple to shake up the market with the iPhone Ultra foldable, but we’re also expecting new flagship silicon from both Qualcomm and MediaTek to power the next generation of flagships. With Android’s Ultras almost out of the picture, Android brands are also expected to release their own “Pro Max” flagships to compete with the iPhone 18 Pro Max, with some of them set to reach global markets.
