Thanks to all the leaks, we know pretty much everything there is to know about Apple’s upcoming iPhone 18 series. Everything except its colors. This is because there is still some debate on what colors the iPhone 18 Pro will come in. Now, thanks to a photo showing the parts of the iPhone 18 Pro, we have a better idea of the colors that will be available.
iPhone 18 Pro parts show what colors are available
This photo comes courtesy of Sonny Dickson, who has in the past been a pretty reliable source of Apple-related leaks. According to his post, he showed off parts of the iPhone 18 Pro in three different colors. To be more specific, these parts are of the SIM card tray. It shows Sky Blue, Dark Cherry, and what appears to be Silver.
Dickson’s post was made in response to an earlier MacRumors report that claimed black is an option and that Apple is skipping silver. But like we said, this is all very confusing. Another tipster, Fixed Focus Digital, shared on Weibo recently that Black was going to be a color option.
However, it’s worth noting that there’s a chance Dickson could be right. This is because this isn’t the first time we’ve heard rumors Apple might skip on black or a space grey version of the iPhone this year. So if you’re a bit confused, you’re not alone. At the same time, what’s been consistent is the suggestion that there will be a Dark Cherry and Sky Blue finish.

In any case, this debate is about to come to an end very soon. Apple currently has an event scheduled for next week, September 9. This is when the company will officially take the wraps off its latest flagship phones.
This year’s launch will be different, though. Instead of unveiling the full lineup, Apple is expected to only launch the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max alongside the foldable iPhone Ultra. The base iPhone 18 model is currently rumored to have been pushed to early 2027. This means that Apple’s focus for this event will be on its higher-end flagships.
We can also expect to see a refresh of the Apple Watch and Apple Watch Ultra series, and possibly new AirPods too.
