You’ve got to pity the folks at Ford and Chevrolet responsible for bringing the Mustang and Camaro to the market. Eleven years ago, they may have been happy with their progress, plugging along nicely, until Dodge threw a wrench into the works. Suddenly, the Challenger SRT Hellcat arrived, offering a frankly ridiculous amount of engine for the money, and rewriting the rules of engagement. Today, depreciation has made the SRT Hellcat an even more impactful vehicle all round, with 2015 examples available for the same amount of money as you’d pay for a new Toyota Camry XSE. That presents one of the most interesting opportunities on the market.
