Samsung announced its new flagship foldables not long ago, but it still has to announce its flagship tablet. The device in question is the Samsung Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra, and we now have its design to share with you.
Here’s what the Samsung Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra will look like
If you take a look at the image below, you’ll see official renders of the Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra. The image shows both the phone’s front and back sides, along with the S Pen stylus. It’s not the highest-res image, but we believe it’s worth sharing nonetheless.
This is not the first time the Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra’s full design leaked. Back in July, CAD-based renders of the device surfaced. Those CAD images go hand-in-hand with the official picture we just shared. This is the final design.
The Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra will have very thin bezels around the display, as you can see. Those bezels will be uniform, and there will be a notch included on the display. A rather small notch, but it will be there. When in horizontal orientation, the notch will be centered up top.
On the back, you’ll notice two cameras and an LED flash below/next to them, depending on the orientation. Everything about this tablet’s design caters to horizontal orientation, though, even the logo on the back.
The S Pen will be supported
The two cameras on the back will protrude a bit, as each of them pokes out of the back on its own. What you may not be able to see, due to the low quality of the image, is that the S Pen stylus has a button on it.
This tablet actually surfaced on the Google Play Console very recently. That listing basically confirmed that we’ll get both Wi-Fi and cellular models of these two tablets. Their availability will vary from market to market, though, of course.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra is expected to arrive during IFA in Berlin. In other words, it’s almost certainly coming in early September. That’s the same timeframe the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra arrived in… last year. The Galaxy Tab S12+ is expected to launch alongside it.
