A mysterious wearable has popped up in some Google Pixel 11 ads. By the looks of it, this seems to be an unreleased Google Pixel wearable. Needless to say, its appearance is very odd.
A mysterious Google wearable keeps popping up in Pixel 11 ads
If you check out the images below, you’ll see the aforementioned wearable. It’s appearing next to the Pixel 11, Pixel Watch 5, Pixel Buds Pro 2, and other current-gen devices from the company’s Pixel lineup.
This actually looks like a fitness tracker that has a screen on it. That’s not something that Google currently offers, but could it be on the way? Is this Google’s way to tease it?
It has the same base shape as the Fitbit Air, but in general, it looks closer to the Fitbit Charge tracker in terms of the overall design. We can only guess at this point, of course.
Some people online are suggesting it’s AI-generated. If it is, why would Google do that, it doesn’t make any sense. Why would a company troll its users in this manner? So that doesn’t sound right.
Considering that this device flat-out appeared in more than one ad, it could be on the way. There’s no sensible explanation why Google would do this, unless it’s April 1st, of course, and it’s not.
What’s interesting is that Fitbit Air is not here at all
Another thing is very weird about all this. The Fitbit Air is not being shown here, despite the fact that it’s a part of the company’s current lineup. Then again, it’s not a Pixel device, per se. There’s a lot of oddity here, and we can only guess at this point.
So, yes, there’s a possibility we’re looking at an unreleased product from Google that will be coming moving forward. That seems like the most plausible explanation, but if true, it’s very odd that Google decided to show its design in this manner.
