But Google increasingly wants it to do more than tell you what to do. And considering just how many people are using Gemini now, that shift could be a pretty big deal.
Google says the Gemini app has crossed 1 billion monthly active users, making it the fastest-growing product in the company’s history. Users are pointing Gemini Live at things through their cameras, sharing their screens when they need help, uploading schoolwork, and collectively generating more than 150 million images every day.
