Trying to marry practicality and performance is one of the more difficult approaches to nail, primarily because the two elements don’t tend to mesh well together. The larger and higher a vehicle is, the worse its driving dynamics usually become. A good sports car needs to be as close to the ground and as light as possible, to reduce drag and improve handling characteristics.
