The Sony WH-CH730N has leaked alongside the WH-CH530, two new pairs of affordable on-ear wireless headphones that Sony is planning to release in the future. These two pairs of wireless headphones will follow the WH-CH520 and the WH-CH720N, both of which were released back in 2023.
Unlike Sony’s more well-known WH-1000XM6 headphones and all of its previous variants, these headphones are targeted at the low end of the market in terms of price, making them much more easily attainable by a larger number of people.
The recently leaked details about the WH-CH530 and WH-CH730N mention that each pair is coming in multiple different color options, but they do not really list specific details about specs such as battery life, price, or most other types of features.
The Sony WH-CH530 and WH-CH730N headphones that leaked come in several colors
Based on the details from the leak, which comes from The Walkman Blog via import and export filings for each headset, Sony is planning to launch several color options for both. The WH-CH530 will come in six different colors, The Walkman Blog says. These colors include Black, White, Pink, Red, Mint Green, and Blue.
The WH-CH730N, meanwhile, is listed as coming in five different colors. These include Black, White, Pink, Blue, and Beige. The colors of these unreleased models differ slightly from the previous models. For instance, the WH-CH520 comes in Butter Yellow and Cappuccino as opposed to Red and Mint Green. They also come in Black, White, Pink, and Blue. The WH-CH720N come in Black, White, Pink, and Blue, but no Beige.
As for price, the older WH-CH520 retail for $69.99, and the WH-CH720N retail for $179.99 at full price. The leaked information speculates that Sony might follow these same price points. In addition to the colors, the import and export filings also mention that the WH-CH530 is a headset featuring stereo audio, while the WH-CH730N is listed as a noise cancelling stereo headset.
