We’ve recently shared official renders of the Galaxy Z Fold 8, Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra, and Galaxy Z Flip 8. Well, thanks to a new leak, we may have our very first look at actual real-life units.
Here’s your first real-life photo of the Galaxy Z Fold 8, Fold 8 Ultra, and Flip 8
An image surfaced on Reddit, allegedly showing all three phones in a single image. It was allegedly captured in a retail store somewhere in Korea. A person who posted it said that the devices were unable for hands-on, and that pictures were also not allowed, but… he apparently took at least one.

As you can see, all three phones are propped up on stands. It’s not the best picture out there, but it’s clear enough for us to see how different these three devices are and to confirm everything we’ve seen thus far.
All three of these phones will become official on July 22. That’s when Samsung will host its second Unpacked event of the year. Alongside these three phones, two of the company’s smartwatches will arrive.
The Galaxy Z Fold 8 will, as you can see, be notably shorter than the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra. Just to be clear, the ‘Ultra’ model is a direct successor to the Galaxy Z Fold 7, not the Fold 8. The Galaxy Z Fold 8 is the company’s new wide foldable.
The Android Headlines Take
Based on what we’ve seen online, quite a few people are interested in the company’s new wide foldable. It seems to be the most anticipated model out of the three, even though the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra will be the most powerful one, technically.
It’s possible that’s just because it’s a new form factor, so it’s something new. This form factor kind of makes more sense, though. It’s easier to use with one hand when folded. When unfolded, it’s better for consuming multimedia and multitasking, in theory.
