Tareen Development Partners plans to bring 311 apartment units to a former strip club site in Nashville. The property is the former home of Pure Gold’s Crazy Horse.
It would include 36 proposed studios, 166 one-bedroom, 71 two-bedroom, 35 three-bedroom and three live-work units.
Reid Shippen acquired the property from Nashville-based development firm The Mainland Cos. for $2.5 million in October 2025. Tareen hopes to acquire the property by the end of the year with plans to break ground in 2027.
The 0.69-acre lot targeted by Tareen Development Partners is located at 300 McCann St. and sits along Interstate 40, wedged between downtown, the Gulch and Wedgewood-Houston. The property is eligible for federal Opportunity Zone tax benefits.
MZA Architecture & Interiors is the architect for the 16-story tower. Plans are set to go before the Metro Planning Commission for approval on Aug. 13.
