Last week, the Galaxy Z Fold 8, Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra, and Galaxy Z Flip 8 price tags were shared. The same goes for the company’s upcoming watches. Those prices were for the European market, and now we have price tags for two additional markets to share.
The Galaxy Z Fold 8 series & Flip 8 prices leak for two more markets
This time around, the prices are only for the company’s foldables, though. Let’s talk about the UK first. Those prices come from the same source as the Euro ones, from Roland Quandt.
He claims that the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 with 256GB will cost £1,699. The Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra with the same amount of storage will set you back £1,899, while the Galaxy Z Flip 8 with 256GB of storage will cost £1,149.
As in the EU, there is £200 separating the two Galaxy Z Fold 8 models. Well, in the EU we’re talking about €, but still. The Galaxy Z Flip 8 will be notably more affordable, but it’ll still cost well over £1,000. In other words, if you’re planning to grab a foldable, you’ll have to set aside quite a bit of cash.
Now, we mentioned that price tags have leaked for another market… Korea, Samsung’s homeland. The Galaxy Z Fold 8 will be priced at KRW 2,278,000 ($1,499), while the ‘Ultra’ model will cost 2,577,00 ($1,682). The Galaxy Z Flip 8 will be priced at KRW 1,683,00 ($1,099). These are all 256GB storage variants, by the way, base models.
So, yes, the devices will be more affordable in Korea, which is to be expected. As a reminder, the announcement is expected to take place on July 22, while general availability will kick off on August 7.
The Android Headlines Take
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 series and the Galaxy Z Flip 8 are getting more expensive. That is not exactly surprising considering that the component costs have gone up quite a bit. Now we seem to know the price tags for the three major markets for Samsung. The US is missing, though.
Don’t be fooled, though; the price tags will go up in the US as well. We still don’t know by how much, but they’ll go up; the US won’t be exempt.
