The Samsung Galaxy S26 FE appears to be inching closer and closer to a launch, as it has now popped up in another benchmark test, and that makes it twice that it’s shown up with benchmark scores in one week, not to mention the same month.
Of course, this doesn’t mean that the phone is right around the corner. Samsung is expected to have a Galaxy Unpacked event coming up in July, but the Galaxy S26 FE isn’t expected to hit the market until at least the Fall. So, more than a few months from now.
While benchmark scores can be a good indicator of what to probably expect when it comes to performance, they’re not the end-all-be-all. At the end of the day, the scores depict performance on paper but that certainly differs from how the device feels in the real world. Still, the benchmarks are important because they give a frame of reference.
Galaxy S26 FE benchmarks differ slightly from previous scores
It might seem odd that scores vary from test to test with the same device, but it happens often. Which brings us to the point that the Samsung Galaxy S26 FE has shown up in benchmarks again, but with slightly different scores. In a report from earlier this month, the phone popped up on Geekbench 6 for the first time. It had scores of 2,255 for the single-core, and 7,450 for the multi-core.
With this new test that has surfaced, the scores are close but slightly lower this time around. The single-core score was 2,104, and the multi-core score was 7,148. Aside from the scores, the benchmark listing also basically confirms a few different key specs. For starters, it shows that the phone comes with 8GB of RAM. It also lists the chipset, which is the S5E9955, or the Exynos 2500.
