Ram’s Performance Flagship Returns
Ram is dusting off one of its most recognizable performance badges, with the 2027 Ram 1500 TRX SRT now available for ordering. Sitting right at the top of the pickup food chain, the TRX SRT is Ram’s way of shouting from the rooftops that SRT performance is back – and it’s not here to play nice.
Under the hood, it’s the same recipe: a supercharged 6.2-liter HEMI V8 pumping out a whopping 777 horsepower and 680 lb-ft of torque. That’s enough to keep the TRX firmly in the running for the title of most outrageous production off-road pickup, but the madness doesn’t stop there.

Built for Speed, Comfort, and Off-Road Duty
Performance is still the name of the game – Ram claims the TRX can rocket from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.5 seconds and hit 118 mph flat out. You get full-time four-wheel drive, Launch Control, Bilstein Black Hawk e2 adaptive shocks, and Ram’s own Active Terrain Dynamics suspension wizardry – all standard, because why hold back?
It rolls on chunky 35-inch tires, boasts 11.8 inches of ground clearance, and serves up a whopping 14 inches of rear axle travel. In other words, it’s got all the hardware you’d expect from a truck built to tear up the desert.
Step inside, and things get downright plush. You’re looking at heated, ventilated, and massaging front seats, reclining heated and ventilated rear seats, leather and suede everywhere, real carbon-fiber accents, and a 19-speaker Harman Kardon sound system that could probably wake the neighbors. There’s also a massive 14.5-inch Uconnect 5 touchscreen, a 12.3-inch digital cluster, head-up display, and not one but two wireless charging pads.
Ram has also thrown in Hands-Free Active Drive Assist, making the TRX and RHO the only high-performance, gas-powered off-road trucks where you can take your hands off the wheel and let the truck do some of the work for you.

Arriving This Summer
The 2027 Ram 1500 TRX SRT starts at $99,995, but after you tack on the $2,795 destination fee, you’re looking at just under $102,000 – and that’s before you even start ticking option boxes.
If you want to stand out even more, there’s the Bloodshot Night Edition for $9,995. You get a hand-painted black upper body with a Flame Red center stripe, wild side graphics, red interior accents, special carbon-fiber trim, and beadlock-capable wheels in Satin Black with Satin Titanium rings. We saw it in the metal earlier this year, and we can say this package cranks the TRX’s already aggressive look up to eleven.
Ram says the 2027 TRX SRT will start hitting dealerships this summer, so it won’t be long before buyers can get their hands on the latest supercharged beast as Ram keeps the performance party going.
For die-hard fans who’ve watched SRT’s wild ride under Stellantis, seeing that badge back in action is a big deal. With the TRX SRT leading the charge, Ram is clearly aiming to win back anyone who craves big V8 power and isn’t afraid to get a little muddy.
