The Chevrolet Corvette is sort of like what Michael Jordan is to basketball, in that his name is synonymous with the sport itself. As for how the Corvette compares to His Airness, you may not know much about cars, but virtually everyone and their brother knows what a Corvette is. You’ll hear little kids asking their parents “Is that a Corvette?” while pointing at some other sports car. The ‘Vette has also been firmly cemented in Americana for several decades at this point, and there’s no sign of that changing any time soon.
