In a new venture to put some premium, outdoor-inspired craftsmanship to the Bronco’s off-road mettle, Ford is broadening its 2027 lineup with a new version of the SUV developed alongside Filson. The result of this partnership is the 2027 Ford Bronco Filson.

The Bronco Filson will make its way to dealers in early 2027 for those who want the sort of capability that has won over off-road purists, but with an interior and styling that is a bit more upscale and pays homage to Filson’s 130-year history.
Under the hood you will find the same 3.0-liter EcoBoost V6 that powers the Raptor. And there is no need to spec out the Sasquatch Package on a Filson; it comes as standard equipment, complete with 35-inch all-terrain tires, Fox internal bypass shocks and front and rear electronic locking differentials. For tackling the trail, Ford has included Trail Turn Assist, Trail 1-Pedal Drive and seven G.O.A.T. modes, from Baja to Rock Crawl. A 12-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto is also part of the package, as is a 360-degree camera.

But the real story with the Bronco Filson is what you find inside. Ford touts this as the quietest cabin they have ever put in a Bronco. Between better seals, acoustic glass and aerodynamic tweaks, they say you will notice almost 20 percent less wind noise.

The design cues are taken from Filson’s well-known gear: think quilted leather, brass trim, a leather-wrapped dash and woven fabric inserts made from the kind of tough twill you would expect from the apparel brand. There are ventilated front and heated rear seats plus an upgraded B&O system.
Practicality has not been overlooked either. You get storage bags with a Filson flair built into the cabin and on the doors, or optional ones for the cargo area in water and dirt-resistant material. They can be taken out and used for your fishing or photography equipment when you are out camping. Other niceties include power running boards that come out on their own and a digital rearview mirror with a washer.

From the outside, the Filson has its own look with a distinctive grille, heritage-style painted wheel arches and tie-downs for larger items like a canoe. Color options run the gamut from Shadow Black and Oxford White to the exclusive Field Green Metallic.
Ford is also putting together a limited First Edition to mark the occasion, which will have its own Iron Sands Copper Metallic paint, serialized console plaque, storage bags and fender badging.
Pricing for the 2027 Bronco Filson is expected to be in the mid-$70,000s.
