Last month, Toyota sold nearly exactly the same number of new cars, trucks, and SUVs as it did in May 2025. That might not sound impressive, but if you look down at the individual figures, it’s a shock. Because Toyota’s bestseller, and the best-selling vehicle in the US that isn’t a pickup, was off by more than 25% from the same month a year ago.
