Ben & Jerry’s has signed a lease for 1,252 square feet at Pier 54, located at 1001 Alaskan Way #105 in Seattle’s Waterfront District. The new full-service scoop shop will be operated by regional franchise owners Lance and Moria Blair, who also own Ben & Jerry’s locations in Seattle’s Green Lake neighborhood and Gig Harbor. They are also preparing to open another Seattle location at Thornton Place at Northgate.
Kidder Mathews Senior Vice President Kelly Gaddis represented Ben & Jerry’s in the transaction and represented the landlord, Pier 54, A.F. Gilmore Company, alongside Kidder Mathews First Vice President Jason Miller and Senior Associate Mia Ponce.
Anchored by the newly completed Waterfront Park, the district now connects Pike Place Market, the Seattle Aquarium, the ferry terminal, and downtown Seattle through a highly walkable public waterfront experience. “Seattle’s waterfront has become one of the city’s most dynamic retail and tourism destinations,” said Gaddis.
