Toyota models tend to hold their value better than essentially any other mainstream brand. In fact, some sources, like CarEdge, find that Toyota models manage to retain an average of 64.9% of their original value after their first five years on the road, beating Subaru and Honda at 61.2% and 60.5%, respectively. On the luxury side of the industry, Lexus leads the industry with 61.6% of its value retained on average. That’s all to say, it’s not surprising to see a popular model like the Toyota Land Cruiser not just holding its value, but gaining value over the years.
