Dummy Units Give Us Our Best Look Yet at iPhone 18 Pro Colors

Every year, Apple introduces at least one new color option to its iPhone Pro series. Last year we got Cosmic Orange, and this year, if the rumors are accurate, we could see a new color option in the form of Cherry. Now, images shared by Sonny Dickson show off the design of the iPhone 18 Pro along with its new colors.

It should be noted that these photos aren’t of the actual phone. Instead, the design and colors of the iPhone 18 Pro are from dummy units. However, they do line up with what we’ve seen in earlier leaks, so there’s a good chance they could be close to the real deal.

But what’s interesting is these dummy units essentially confirm what we’ve been hearing so far. By that we mean that the iPhone 18 Pro could actually be offered in four color options this year. Last year, the iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max only came in three colors. This year, we could be getting four.

This includes the rumored Cherry, a Light Blue, along with Silver and Black. The silver and black finishes are probably the most boring, but it might suit those who want a more muted look. Also, we can’t say with certainty if these colors are the exact colors Apple will be using. Presumably these dummy units aren’t exactly color matched, plus the anodization might be different as well. But it should still give us a very rough idea of what to expect.

Coming this September

If you are looking forward to Apple’s new iPhones, then you won’t have to wait too long. Apple will most likely announce the new models this September. Seeing as we’re already nearly in June, that’s about 3 months or so left of waiting.

However, this year’s announcement will be different. Instead of launching the base iPhone 18, Apple might push it to 2027. This year will only see Apple launch the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max, along with its rumored iPhone Ultra foldable. This is a huge deal for Apple as it marks the company’s first foray into the foldables market.

The iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max aren’t expected to look too different from its predecessors. There was a recent leak that suggested it could be taller and narrower, but we’ll have to wait and see.
