The Samsung Galaxy S27 Pro is coming, as many of you know, and now we have some information about its camera setup. The information comes from Ice Universe, one of the most prominent tipsters in the industry.
The Galaxy S27 Pro will have identical main and ultrawide cameras to the ‘Ultra’ model
He went to Weibo to say that the Galaxy S27 Pro will have the same main and ultrawide cameras as the Galaxy S27 Ultra. The third camera on the back, however, will be different, the telephoto unit.
The tipster says that he would like to see Samsung use a 3.5x 50-megapixel ALoP sensor. That’s just a wish; however, that’s probably not what will happen, but we’ll see.
As a reminder, the Galaxy S27 Ultra could also go to a three-camera setup on the back; we still don’t know. It all depends on what rumor you end up believing; it could go either way.
The ‘Pro’ model will be much more compact
A couple of days ago, a report from Korea said that the Galaxy S27 Pro will have a 6.4-inch display. It also said that Qualcomm’s chip will likely fuel the device, the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 series chip.
That phone is also tipped to have a bigger battery than the Galaxy S27 and a thinner design. Android 17 will come pre-installed on both the Galaxy S27 Pro and Galaxy S27 Ultra, of course.
That’s basically everything we know about the Galaxy S27 Pro at this point. Not much information surfaced just yet. The phone is expected to arrive in Q1 2027, alongside the Galaxy S27 and Galaxy S27 Ultra.
Initially, the Galaxy S27 Pro was described as the Galaxy S27 Ultra without the S Pen. However, it seems like there will be additional differences between them, the size and at least one different camera, at least.
