China’s iQOO has launched a new tablet called the Pad 6 Pro. The slate has arrived as a flagship-grade offering, which the company has positioned as a “full-range, wide-view performance tablet”. It comes with a similar set of features as the Pad6 Pro by Vivo, which the company introduced in March.
iQOO’s Pad 6 Pro is a gaming-centric tablet
iQOO has powered the Pad 6 Pro with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, pairing it with its in-house Monster over-core engine. The company has developed this software-hardware integration to stabilize frame rates during heavy gaming sessions. The Snapdragon flagship chip is accompanied by the Adreno 840 GPU and up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM.
A 13.2-inch 4K ultra-high-definition screen is another highlight of the new iQOO tablet. The screen panel sports a 144Hz high refresh rate and supports Dolby Vision, which delivers high-dynamic-range content playback. iQOO says the device supports 4K rendering across 13 specific gaming titles. The slate features a built-in Vapor Chamber three-dimensional cooling system, which keeps the temperature in check during intensive gaming sessions.
The iQOO tablet also offers AI-driven upscaling and frame interpolation, in addition to reduced input latency, thanks to a super-sensitive touch panel. Additionally, the slate offers an audio tuning algorithm optimized for spatial awareness, native support for 4K game live screenshots, and direct 4K game video recording.
An 8-speaker panoramic system and a 13,000mAh battery are also on offer
As for the other features, the iQOO Pad 6 Pro comes in two UFS 4.1 storage variants, including 256GB and 512GB. Software-wise, the device boots Android 16 with OriginOS 6 HD for tablets. Camera features include a 13MP primary camera on the back and an 8MP front-facing shooter.
Connectivity is standard, including dual-band Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, and USB Type-C. Notably, the slate offers an 8-speaker panoramic system, 10-band EQ, and Super Audio 7.0. A 13,000mAh battery keeps the whole package alive.
Coming to the pricing, the iQOO Pad 6 Pro’s base variant with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage costs around $660. The most high-end version with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of memory will be available for approximately $985. The tablet is already available to buy in China in three distinct colorways. As of now, there’s no word regarding the slate’s global availability.
