Sports car manufacturers must be sick and tired of seeing the Porsche 911 constantly scooping all the motoring awards and being recommended as the default choice above all else. There’s no doubt that the 911 is an impressive piece of kit. Still, it isn’t exactly affordable, and the obsession that the motoring world has with it can sometimes make us overlook some very capable and more affordable alternatives.
