If you think that bezels should get even thinner on smartphones, you’ll love the display we’re here to talk about. Ice Universe, a well-known tipster, shared an image of it, and this display has the thinnest bezels out there… by far.
This is the thinnest smartphone display out there, and it’s not even close
You can see the display below. Yes, the bezels are immensely thin; they measure only 0.35mm on all sides, so they’re uniform. This is a 6.32-inch display, by the way, and it offers a 240Hz refresh rate.

The display is made by Tianma, says Ice Universe. In his X post, he also asked his followers to guess which company will be first to use this panel. Most of them said OPPO or OnePlus, and they’re probably right.
Why? Well, because the OPPO Find X9 was the first smartphone to use Tianma’s Tiangong screen. On top of that, OPPO and Tianma announced a strategic partnership and a joint laboratory last year. So… it fits perfectly.
The screen-to-body ratio here is 98.5%
The screen-to-body ratio here is as high as 98.5%, which is way above what we’re used to seeing. Just to put this into perspective, the iPhone 17 Pro, for example, has a bezel thickness of 1.44mm and a screen-to-body ratio of around 89%.
The Xiaomi 17, on the other hand, has a bezel thickness of 1.18mm and a screen-to-body ratio of around 91%. The OnePlus 15T has a bezel thickness of 1.15mm, and its screen-to-body ratio is also around 91%. Jumping from bezels of over 1mm (which are currently the thinnest out there) to 0.35mm is a huge change, needless to say.
When will we see this display on the market? Well, if we had to guess, we’d say that the OPPO Find X10 series could use it. In fact, there’s a good chance that all models in the series will use it, we’ll see.
