Faraday Future may have jumped the gun with the FF 91, with delayed customer delivery and a jacked-up price tag that only a few could afford – among other setbacks and controversies – so it’s changing its tune. The company now wants to challenge Toyota and enter the mainstream EV market with a new sub-brand, Faraday X (FX), and it has officially teased its first model called the Super One. Faraday X’s first model appears to be an electric MPV, so it could take the fight to the VW ID. Buzz, or some of Toyota’s high-end vans for other markets.
