The Motorola Razr 2026 is here, and if you’re wondering how it stacks up size-wise, the answer is: it’s still wonderfully pocketable. That’s kind of the whole point of a flip phone, right?
When unfolded, the Razr 2026 sports a 6.9-inch primary AMOLED display, the same size as last year’s model. It’s running at a 1080 x 2640 resolution with a 165Hz refresh rate, which is pretty solid for the price. The cover screen sits at around 3.6 inches, giving you plenty of room to handle quick tasks, reply to texts, and check notifications without ever flipping the thing open.
Folded vs. Unfolded Dimensions
The Razr 2026 measures just 7.3mm thick when unfolded, which is pretty good for a foldable. It tips the scales at 188g, making it one of the lighter flip phones you can buy right now. That weight matters more than you’d think when you’re using it one-handed all day. The Razr Ultra 2026 is slightly heftier at 199g with a 7.2mm unfolded thickness and a larger 7-inch internal display, so if you want more screen real estate, that’s the model to grab.
Specs on the base Razr 2026 include the MediaTek Dimensity 7450X chipset, 8GB of RAM, and either 128GB of storage. There’s a 4,800mAh battery inside, which is actually larger than what you’ll find in the Razr Plus 2026, and it supports 30W wired charging plus 15W wireless. It’s also the first flip phone to meet MIL-STD-810H durability standards, which is a nice touch.
For pricing, the base Razr 2026 starts at a more affordable price than its siblings, while the Razr Plus 2026 jumps to $1,099 and the Razr Ultra 2026 hits $1,499. T-Mobile customers will have to wait to grab one, but most other major carriers are launching it in May.
