
After launching in the home market, China, in October last year, the Redmi Watch 6 is now expanding to global regions. The smartwatch offers an AMOLED display with a 60Hz refresh rate, a unibody design with an aluminium alloy frame, and a large battery that can last up to 24 days on moderate use. There’s a new physical button for intuitive control.
Redmi Watch 6 goes global with a sleek design and a long battery life
The Redmi Watch 6 sports a 2.07-inch square AMOLED display with 432 x 514 pixels, 80% screen-to-body ratio, and a peak brightness of 2,000 nits. It has 2mm ultra-slim symmetrical bezels. There’s always-on-display support as well. It also has a linear motor with more than 20 vibration patterns for alarms, notifications, fitness alerts, and health updates.
The smartwatch offers 24/7 heart rate monitoring and blood oxygen tracking. You also get sleep analysis, stress monitoring, abnormal heart rate alerts, guided breathing exercises, and women’s health management features as well. It is equipped with a 550mAh battery, which is claimed to last up to 24 days on moderate usage.

The wearable supports over 150 sports modes, including running, cycling, hiking, and a few others. The Redmi smartwatch also doubles up as a camera shutter to capture photos instantly with a single tap, and it can control smart home devices. The new physical button is not just for aesthetics; it is functional. It can open the control center with a single tap, pressing and holding the button gives access to the power off/restart menu, and triple pressing it calls emergencies.Â
Xiaomi says the smartwatch is 1.4mm slimmer than the previous generation. It is 9.9mm thin, with 20% higher structural strength and a 40% greeted wear resistance. Rest, you also get 5 ATM water resistance, Bluetooth 5.4 Dual L1 antenna, and a high-precision GNSS chip.
It’s quite cheap for what it offers
The Redmi Watch 6 is rolling out widely as a part of the global launch strategy. It’s now available in Poland, Romania, and Thailand. The standard version costs PLN 449 (~$125) in Poland, RON 519 (~$116) in Romania, and THB 3,190 (~$100) in Thailand. Meanwhile, the NFC version, which is only available in Poland, costs PLN 499 (~$140). The smartwatch comes in Silver Gray, Glacier Blue, and Obsidian Black shades.
