JPMorganChase has opened its new three-story Winnetka office building at 791 Elm Street with a ceremony attended by local community leaders, clients, and employees.
Located at the historic site of the North Shore’s first-ever bank, the building houses J.P. Morgan Private Bank’s new North Shore office and state-of-the-art Client Center, featuring artwork from local artists and meeting spaces. A new Chase retail branch anchors the ground floor.
The building broke ground in November of 2024 and doubles the square footage of the former site to 34,000 square feet across three floors, including 32 parking spaces. The project created 250 local jobs through construction, with 20% of the work awarded to local minority and women-owned businesses.
“This day is a milestone for our clients, employees, and the Winnetka community we’re proud to call home,” said Jaime Freeman, Head of North Shore for J.P. Morgan Private Bank. With more than 14,500 employees, JPMorganChase is one of Chicagoland’s largest employers.
