Xiaomi launched the Smart Band 10 wearable in June last year, and it is now planning to introduce a pro variant of the same soon. The new wearable will succeed the Xiaomi Band 9 Pro, which Xiaomi introduced in October 2024. While the brand is yet to officially confirm the existence of the device, a reliable tipster has shared some details regarding the purported Xiaomi Band 10 Pro’s design and variants.
One of the Xiaomi Smart Band 10 Pro variants will feature a ceramic design
According to Digital Chat Station on Weibo, Xiaomi will debut the Smart Band 10 Pro in multiple variants, including one with a ceramic design. The company will offer the wearable in black, white, silver, orange, and pink colorways and a white ceramic version.
While the regular color models weigh less than 40g, the ceramic version will tip the scale over 50g, according to the source. Additionally, the tipster mentioned that the ceramic edition’s build quality is likely to be “quite good.” It appears that the ceramic build could help the brand push the Smart Band slightly further upmarket.
Xiaomi’s upcoming wearable could arrive with big changes
The predecessor to Smart Band 10 Pro, the Band 9 Pro, features an aluminum alloy frame. However, it weighs less than 25 grams without a strap. As of now, it’s unclear if Digital Chat Station has shared the weight of the Band 10 pro without or with a strap. However, if it’s only for the body, the new wearable could have a beefier battery or a bigger display.
Xiaomi’s Band 9 Pro features a 1.7-inch display, but the Band 10 Pro could have a slightly bigger one for some extra functionalities. The current Pro model offers a battery life of up to 21 days. However, the new variant could deliver much higher life, thanks to a beefier power cell. Xiaomi will reveal the official details of the new wearable in the coming days, so stay tuned.
