Genesis is regarded as a pretty reliable brand, but the NHTSA includes Genesis recalls under the Hyundai brand, with a whopping 1,195,458 units recalled so far this year. The increasingly-popular Genesis SUV segment’s greatest contribution to that total would be a 235,792-unit recall, shared with Kia, for fuel leaks between the pipe and fuel rail, affecting the 2026 Genesis GV70.
