Broward Health has broken ground on a new medical office building at Broward Health North, 201 East Sample Road in Deerfield Beach.
The six‑story, 127,033‑square‑foot facility, scheduled to open in 2027, is one of the health system’s first major new construction projects in almost 30 years.
Designed by The Beck Group in collaboration with DMZ Architects, the building will include 75 exam rooms, with infrastructure to expand to 123 as future demand grows. Patients will have access to cardiovascular, neuroscience and orthopedic services, as well as additional specialty clinics and affiliated physician practices.
Remedy Medical Properties, a national outpatient medical real estate owner, is collaborating on the project, and DPR Construction is the general contractor.
The Broward Health North medical office building is one of two major medical office building projects planned by the health system. A second facility and parking garage are planned at Broward Health Medical Center in Fort Lauderdale.
