Vivo has finally decided to take its “Ultra” series to the global stage with the launch of the X300 Ultra. While North American users often stick to traditional flagship brands, this international debut brings one of the most sophisticated camera systems ever seen on a phone to regions like Europe, Asia, and Brazil.
Vivo X300 Ultra reaches global markets
The heart of this device is the so-called ZEISS Master Lenses Collection. Vivo is using three distinct prime lenses designed for specific photographic needs. There’s a 35 mm “Documentary” camera that uses a massive Sony LYTIA 901 sensor to capture a field of view that mimics the human eye, according to the brand.
For those who need to get closer to the action, the 85 mm periscope telephoto lens stands out with its 200 MP resolution and gimbal-grade stabilization. This setup handles color fringing and handheld blur with high precision. Furthermore, Vivo introduced physical telephoto extenders that can push the focal length to a 400 mm equivalent.
Built for creators
Beyond still photography, the X300 Ultra positions itself as a powerhouse for videographers. It supports 4K recording at 120fps across all rear sensors. Professionals will also appreciate the 10-bit Log and Dolby Vision. This gives professionals the dynamic range they need for high-end post-production.
Vivo also partnered with SmallRig for a dedicated video rig kit. This accessory includes an expandable cage, two hand grips, and physical buttons for zooming and shutter control. It even has a fan to keep the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor cool while you record.

Under the hood, the X300 Ultra is every bit a 2026 flagship. It features a high-capacity 6,600 mAh battery with 100W fast charging and a stunning 2K OLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate. The device runs on OriginOS 6, based on Android 16. Vivo is promising up to five years of Android OS upgrades and seven years of security patches.
