The Huawei Pura 90 Pro is on its way, and Huawei just shared some official camera samples to tease the phone’s arrival. Do note that the Huawei Pura 90 Pro Max will have the same camera setup as the ‘Pro’, so these samples essentially come from both phones.
The Huawei Pura 90 series camera samples are quite impressive
The samples have been shared by the CEO of Huawei Consumer Business Group, He Gang. The images you can see in the gallery below show the sunset scene and twilight rays on buildings, the beach, roads, and so on.
According to the provided information, these images have been captured using the all-new 200-megapixel camera that will be available on the devices. He Gang said: “Many friends in the comment area want to see the Huawei Pura 90 series shooting the orange sea, here comes! #Pura90 200MP smart shooting flagship#”
The images do look very clear and vibrant. There’s plenty of detail in them, and the light reflection the phones managed to capture is quite impressive. You can also check out the images in full resolution, if you’d like.
Huawei recently showed off the design of the Huawei Pura 90 series, and the company is coming for a colorful theme this time around. There are a lot of gradient finishes on offer this time around.
Huawei is sticking with its interesting-looking three-camera setup on the back. That goes for both phones, as they’ll basically look the same, but be different in terms of size.
The phones will have a 1-inch main sensor, and a 200-megapixel periscope telephoto unit
The aforementioned 200-megapixel camera will be used as a periscope telephoto camera. So the provided camera samples have been captured by that shooter, not the main 50-megapixel camera that will be used. That main camera will use a 1-inch sensor, though.
Huawei did tease a very impressive quality of the 200-megapixel periscope telephoto camera, though, even at 20x zoom. Both phones will also feature Huawei’s second-gen Red Maple image technology.
Both of these smartphones will become official on April 20 in China.
