If you’re shopping about for a new laptop, you might want to pump on the brakes for a sec. This is because HONOR has recently announced the launch dates for two of its upcoming laptops: the HONOR MagicBook X14 Plus and the MagicBook X16 Plus.
HONOR MagicBook X14 Plus, X16 Plus launch dates
According to the post on Weibo, HONOR has confirmed that the MagicBook X14 Plus and X16 Plus laptops are launching on April 23rd. The company hasn’t confirmed the pricing just yet. They also haven’t exactly been forthcoming with the specs either, so we’ll have to wait until the launch for those details.
However, we should note that HONOR previously released the non-Plus versions of the laptops. Those models were powered by AMD’s Ryzen 7 7735HS processors. If we’re speculating, there’s a good chance that the Plus models could actually be powered by Intel’s processors.
Also, based on the teaser image that accompanied the announcement, the laptops appear to have two USB-C ports, an audio jack, two USB-A ports, and a HDMI port. The main difference is probably in their size,. The MagicBook X14 Plus is probably packing a 14-inch display, while the MagicBook X16 Plus packing a 16-inch display.
Busy year for HONOR
Since the start of 2026, it has been a pretty busy year for HONOR. It wasn’t too long ago that HONOR released the Magic V6 foldable. The company even showed off a prototype phone with a built-in camera gimbal at MWC 2026. More recently, there are leaks suggesting that a new HONOR Win 2 smartphone is in development and it’s packing an impressive 10,000mAh battery.
We’re not sure if HONOR plans to launch its new laptops in global markets yet. But if you can wait for a couple more weeks, we should have all the details including specs, pricing, and availability. The company is also expected to announce a new WIN gaming laptop on the same day. This means that we can look forward to three laptops from the company soon.
