
Habitat for Humanity Seattle-King & Kittitas Counties has completed the 40-home Miller’s Creek community in Burien.
Home is the Key is the first major U.S. activation of Habitat for Humanity’s Let’s Open the Door campaign. Miller’s Creek is Habitat SKKC’s newest completed community, featuring 40 affordable homes with three- and four-bedroom layouts, along with a playground and green spaces within walking distance of schools, shops, and services. Habitat SKKC has more than 300 homes in its construction pipeline through 2030.
Support for the project came from The City of Burien, National Housing Trust, Amazon, Washington State Department of Commerce, King County Housing Finance Program, South King Housing & Homeless Partners, U.S. Department of Housing & Urban Development, Weyerhaeuser, Black Rock, Washington Trust Bank, Bank of America, U.S. Bank, Boulevard Park Place, the Aven Foundation, the Norcliffe Foundation, and Symetra.
