Berkadia completed the sale of six senior living communities in the Kansas City MSA.
The portfolio consisted of six assisted living and memory care communities totaling 413 units across the Kansas City MSA, including Kansas City, Blue Springs and Raymore, Missouri, and Olathe and Lenexa, Kansas.
Managing Directors Ross Sanders, Dave Fasano, Cody Tremper, and Mike Garbers of Berkadia Seniors Housing & Healthcare closed the sale transaction on behalf of a joint venture between Hunt Midwest, a Kansas City-based real estate development company, and Principal Senior Living, a Georgia-based developer, owner, and operator of senior living communities.
The communities are located in affluent suburban Kansas City markets and were purpose-built between 2015 and 2019. The portfolio was over 90% occupied at closing. Berkadia Seniors Housing & Healthcare offers innovative and comprehensive solutions for active adult, independent living, assisted living, memory care and skilled nursing projects across the country.
