Amazon plans to build a 112,000 square foot warehouse in Brevard County, on Florida’s Space Coast. It’s appropriate, then, that the plans may involve satellites. The Orlando Business Journal reports the building may be for Amazon Leo, the company’s low Earth orbit satellite network. The Federal Communications Commission authorized Amazon to deploy 3,236 satellites into low Earth orbit.
The development plan is to build the project on 45 acres along Horizon Drive, bordering the Indian River in Titusville. The company purchased the property in Titusville in December 2025 for $6.1 million.
Additionally, Amazon has delivery and fulfillment centers in Melbourne and Cocoa.
Florida is home to six other such facilities, including locations in Tampa, Jacksonville, Miami, Tallahassee and at 12340 Boggy Creek Road in Orlando.
