Even though it took an eight-year hiatus from the mid-size truck party, the Ford Ranger quickly became a strong competitor in the segment after a return for the 2019 model year. Considerably larger than the previous generation, which ended in 2011, Rangers in other markets received this generation in direct succession, but the pickup wouldn’t come to America until the end of the decade.
