The Roborock Saros 20 is the company’s newest flagship robot vacuum, and for a limited time, you can save over $200 off its regular price.
Roborock debuted the Saros 20 at CES, and it brings a bunch of new features that sound cool, and some might think they are gimmicks, but that couldn’t be any further from the truth. With the upgraded StarSight Autonomous System 2.0, Roborock isn’t just mapping out your home; it’s understanding your home.
Do you have a large dining room table with four to six chairs? That can be pretty tough for a robot vacuum to clean around, without getting stuck. That’s a piece of cake for the Saros 20. This is because Roborock decided to ditch its usual LDS navigation system, and instead is using a 3D Time-of-Flight vision system that has dual transmitters and solid-state sensing. This allows for faster and more accurate maps. It’s also using higher-frequency sensing, which allows the robot to build maps faster, while also remaining accurate. This new system makes it easy to identify small objects like cables or utensils that fell off your dining room table. Making it perfect for more cluttered homes.
The best part? The Saros 20 isn’t just navigating around your home and items that are in your home, it’s recognizing them. That’s a big deal. This new robot vacuum is able to identify more than 300 object types and detect items that are just a few centimeters in size. So if your kid leaves their toy, even something as small as a LEGO, in the middle of the hallway, Saros 20 is able to see it, categorize it, and route around it. Instead of plowing through it and getting stuck. Because let’s face it, with something like a LEGO and the Saros 20 having 36,000Pa suction power, it’s going to pick it up with ease. But that doesn’t mean it should.
Identifying objects isn’t something new for robot vacuums. I remember reviewing Roborock’s first robot vacuum that could identify objects, which was the Roborock S7 MaxV, back in 2022. But robot vacuums still struggled with vertical objects. Think of cabinets that overhang, or TV consoles that are closer to the ground than they might seem. Well, Saros 20 can handle that as well. This is thanks to something called Vertibeam. With this feature, Saros 20 is able to identify these objects and avoid them, if needed. This is perfect for my Ikea TV console that seams to taunt every robot vacuum into trying to clean under it, and ultimately getting stuck.

Saros 20 can identify and avoid objects above the robot, too
Vertibeam uses vertical structured light to eliminate side blind spots. So that the Saros 20 is able to clean alongside walls, and other furniture in your home without getting stuck and needing to be rescued.
Does your home have higher thresholds than normal? That’s no match for Saros 20. As it can clear single and dual layer thresholds up to 4.5cm (1.77in) and 4cm (1.5cm) respectively, combined that means it can conquer thresholds that are 8.8cm (3.46in) high. This is thanks to a feature Roborock is calling AdaptiLift Chassis 3.0. So it can get over thresholds into your Bathroom, Kitchen and other rooms, without any human intervention.

Finally, the Saros 20 is also able to identify where it is in your home more precisely. So if you needed to pick it up for some reason, during its cleaning cycle, it knows where it is, and can get started faster than ever before. This is partly thanks to the new SmartPlan 3.0 feature that is included in the Roborock App.
The Saros 20 Brings Serious Cleaning Power to your Home
Obviously, a robot vacuum being able to navigate and understand your home’s layout is important, but so is cleaning it. As you’d expect, Roborock did not skimp there either. With 36,000Pa suction power here. That’s pretty impressive. Thats’ quite a bit more than the Saros 10 and Saros 10R that were launched last year at 22,000Pa. Meaning that dirt, dust and other debris don’t stand a chance against the Saros 20.
The Roborock Saros 20 features an industry-first Dynamic Chassis Elevation & Brush Stabilization Module. This innovative technology automatically adjusts the robot’s height. By maintaining optimal brush contact and suction, it ensures a deep clean, even on high-pile carpets.
It does also have the usual features like carpet boundary detection, so it can identify when it is on carpet and lifts the wet mop off of the floor. The Dual Anti-Tangle System that debuted last year, is also back on the Saros 20. This brush is really good at what it does. I used the Saros 10R in my home for almost the full year last year, and having a long-haired dog that is always shedding, the Saros 10R performed beautifully with this Dual Anti-Tangle System, it didn’t get tangled once. Which is mighty impressive.
Of course, we can’t forget about the new RockDock, which does bring in a few new features. For one, it can now use hot water to clean the mop in both directions as well as soaking the mop when it’s extra dirty. It can also use hot water to self-clean the dock, up to 100°C or 212°F. And the last new feature here is the Active Dust Bag Fresh-Air Drying, which is a great feature to have as it’ll keep your dock from getting smelly, or growing bacteria.
The Roborock Saros 20 brings AI to your home. Leveraging AI to intelligently determine cleaning needs across your home. The AI decides when to clean, when to perform a re-clean, and when certain rooms can be skipped entirely. This functionality is integrated into the SmartPlan 3.0 feature, accessible via the Roborock App. SmartPlan 3.0 also allows the device to reduce power and noise during “do not disturb” hours, ensuring a clean home without causing disruption.
Saros 20 Sonic is smaller, and more streamlined

In addition to the Saros 20, Roborock also has the Saros 20 Sonic. This features all of the same cleaning and navigation features as the Saros 20, but what sets this apart is the size. The Saros 20 Sonic is a much smaller dock, and this is because it connects straight into your water supply. So it’s able to refill and drain as needed. Allowing you to do even less, to help keep your home nice and clean.
The dock height is about 30cm, that’s less than a foot tall. Which makes this really useful for those that do not want a huge robot vacuum dock in the corner of their living room or kitchen.
For a limited time, Save $210 on Roborock Saros 20!
Through March 29, 2026, you can order the Saros 20 for a discounted price of $1,389. That’s around 13% off of its regular price, no promo code needed.
While this is quite pricey for a robot vacuum, when you look at all the improvements that Roborock has made here, and how impressive the Saros 20 is, this is definitely worth the asking price.
