High Street Residential (HSR) has provided plans to Brookhaven for review that would add 280 apartment units to its already-under-construction 350-unit project at Perimeter Summit. The eight-story building will include 5,000 square feet of commercial space between Lake Hearn Drive and Summit Boulevard. The project would include 28 workforce housing units.
Perimeter Summit is home to 1.7 million square feet of office and retail space, as well as the Hyatt Regency Atlanta Perimeter hotel and a condo building. AMLI Residential opened 630 apartments and 20,000 square feet of retail space last summer across Lake Hearn Drive from HSR’s proposed development.
The commercial space included in High Street’s latest endeavour, called Residences at Perimeter Summit, is expected to be used as two restaurant spaces located across from the AMLI development.
The proposed development would take shape on a 2.7-acre vacant site.
Brookhaven City Council could take a final vote on the proposal on April 28.
