Vivo has officially launched the Vivo V70 FE in Indonesia today, following recent leaks and rumors. The company, as usual, has debuted the latest smartphone with impressive camera specs, featuring a 200MP primary camera sensor and a big 7,000mAh battery. The device comes in three different colors and packs last year’s MediaTek Dimensity 4nm chipset.
Vivo V70 FE officially launched with MediaTek’s Dimensity 7360-Turbo SoC, 200MP primary camera, and a big 7,000mAh battery
Speaking of specs, the Vivo V70 FE flaunts a 6.83-inch AMOLED display (10-bit Q10+ panel) with a 1.5K resolution and a screen refresh rate of 120Hz. The said display offers a peak brightness of 1,900 nits and supports HDR10+. As previously rumored, the Vivo V70 FE packs MediaTek’s Dimensity 7360-Turbo 4nm SoC under the hood.
As far as software is concerned, the new smartphone runs on Android-16-based OriginOS 6. While many brands these days shower plenty of AI features in their flagship offerings, you’ll see many in these mid-range Android smartphones. The camera department is yet another highlight of the Vivo V70 FE. The device sports a dual rear camera setup, featuring a 200MP main camera with OIS support and an f/1.88 aperture. Complementing it is an 8MP ultra-wide shooter, while a 32MP front-facing camera is there for selfies.
Vivo has officially confirmed that the V70 FE will get up to 6 years of security updates. However, the company hasn’t explicitly mentioned the number of Android OS upgrades the smartphone would get down the line. Notably, the smartphone also comes with an IP68 and IP69 water and dust resistance rating.
Moving on, the Vivo V70 FE features an under-display optical fingerprint scanner, dual SIM support, an Aura light at the back, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, and an IR blaster. As mentioned at the start, the device also packs a 7,000mAh battery and supports 90W of fast wired charging.
The beefiest variant only offers 8GB of RAM
You can grab the Vivo V70 FE in three different colors: Muse Purple, Ocean Blue, and Titanium Silver. Vivo is offering this Android smartphone with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The base variant featuring 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage costs IDR 6,499,000 (~$380). Whereas the 12GB+256GB configuration sets you back IDR 7,199,000 (~$425). Meanwhile, the beefiest model surprisingly only offers 8GB of RAM but bumps up the storage to 512GB for IDR 7,399,000 (~$435). You can pre-order all three variants in all three colors from Vivo Indonesia official website.
