
HONOR is all set to introduce its latest V series foldable offering called the Magic V6 at the upcoming MWC 2026. Ahead of the launch, the phone is already making headlines with reports suggesting it features the thinnest bezels with new tech. There are also reports about the device killing the foldable display crease and offering the fastest charging capability. HONOR has now revealed the cell capacity of the Magic V6, suggesting it is setting a new benchmark for foldable battery life.
HONOR officially reveals the Magic V6 foldable’s battery capacity
The brand has announced that the Magic V6 is “shattering” battery limits in a foldable smartphone with the largest 6,660mAh silicon-carbon battery. The phone incorporates HONOR’s fifth-generation silicon-carbon material. It will “strike an optimal balance between slimness and high energy density.” Notably, this technology delivers an impressive 25 percent silicon content for higher energy density in an ultra-thin foldable form factor.
Some leaks earlier have also reported that the HONOR Magic V6 will have a battery with a capacity of around 6,600mAh. It’s worth mentioning that there will be a variant of the phone with a massive 7,150mAh battery, making it the largest battery seen on a foldable device.
At MWC 2026, HONOR will also unveil its next-generation Silicon-Carbon Blade battery. It will feature an even higher silicon content and increased capacity. The company has also posted a video, which you can watch below, demonstrating the slimness of the upcoming Silicon-Carbon Blade battery.
HONOR Magic V6 rumoured specifications
HONOR could power the Magic V6 with Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon Elite Gen 5 chipset. The phone could arrive with a 200MP rear camera. It could offer improved hinge durability, advanced artificial intelligence features, and satellite communication. There are also reports that it’ll be the fastest-charging foldable smartphone with 120W fast charging support. It could also be the first IP69-certified foldable handset.
HONOR Magic V6 will run MagicOS 16 based on Android 16, according to reports. Reports also suggest that it’ll be thinner and lighter than its predecessor. We’ll have official details in a matter of days, so stay tuned.
